Amanda had a wide range of clients from business clients wishing to make wills so that their young children have guardians to farming clients wishing to pass farm businesses onto their children. Many of Amanda's clients are elderly and require specialist advice on how to put their legal affairs in order during periods of ill health or following the death of their spouse.
Route to PCB
Amanda went to Shrewsbury Sixth Form College before going on to Southampton University and the Inns of Court School of Law in London. From there she completed Pupillage at 3 Paper Buildings and was called to the Bar in 1991. Amanda started her career doing general common law and later specialized in Criminal law. She transferred to private client work in 2002 and joined PCB in 2005, becoming Head of Department in 2007.

Interests outside work
When she is not looking after 3 children Amanda enjoys swimming, sewing and reading.
