Brendan is a Partner and heads Criminal Litigation and Licensing at the firm's Ludlow Office. With almost twenty years experience, Brendan has criminal work that covers everything from minor motoring offences to murder. He also has considerable experience in representing clients in non-police prosecutions such as cases brought by trading standards bodies, environmental health departments, and the RSPCA. Although Brendan is based in the firm's Ludlow office he undertakes a great deal of work in the south Shropshire, north Herefordshire and mid-Wales areas. He regularly sees clients at the firm's Church Stretton and Knighton offices. Brendan is also the partner responsible for the firm's contracts with the Legal Services Commission.

Brendan graduated from Liverpool University. After law school he trained in the West Midlands before moving to Shropshire. In 1996 he became a partner in the firm of Patience Clarke, Solicitors and then in 1999, a partner in the merged firm of Patience Clarke and Burrowes.

Interests outside work
When not in the police station outside office hours, Brendan enjoys cycling, hill and mountain walking with his wife, four children and the family dog.
