Born in Manchester, Edmund qualified as a solicitor in 1984 after training with a firm on the South Coast. He settled in Shropshire in 1991.

Interests outside work

Edmund is married with 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys choral singing and amateur dramatics. He is also a Governor of a local primary school.
