Conveyancing Administrative Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time or part time Conveyancing Administrative Assistant to join our team. The role can be based at any of our offices, however the successful candidate will need to travel to other offices as and when the role requires to support the Head of Department, therefore a driving licence is required.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, diligent and capable individual to join PCB, who is passionate about business development to support the growth of the department and firm with an aptitude for legal administration and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:
· Work alongside the IT department to provide assistance with the Residential Property team’s system administration such as managing Lender Exchange, LMS and SDLT,
· Oversee the compliance of regular file reviews in the department,
· Work alongside the HR department to manage employee and department training as well as liaising any staff concerns to HR,
· Use the case management system (ALB) to maintain and update precedent letters and accurately enter undertakings as well as maintaining a central register,
· Analyse and report on employee compliance on a monthly basis to the Head of Property,
· Provide support in department meetings such as taking meeting notes and work with the Head of Department to implement meeting actions,
· Oversee AML and compliance standards in the department,
· Assist in developing and updating the Conveyancing Handbook,
· Other ad-hoc Conveyancing administration and compliance tasks.
Essential Skills:
· Strong understanding of the Conveyancing process and legal compliance,
· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills,
· Be able to work in a collaborative manner with the department and wider firm,
· Be able to retain high levels of confidential information with discretion,
· Be proficient in MS office applications and legal software,
· Be highly organised with the ability to manage several tasks at a time with precise attention to detail.
Experience:
· Proven experience in an administrative role is required,
· Experience in a Legal or Conveyancing role is preferable.

Work Pattern:
· Monday to Friday (35 hours full time).
Place of Work:
· Shropshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
