We have an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer to join our Dispute Resolution department, to be based at our Shrewsbury office, with other office locations to be considered for the successful candidate. Day to day you will be expected to advise on a variety of matters to include Property Disputes, Debt Recovery, Employment Law, Inheritance and Probate Disputes and Civil and Commercial Litigation. Applicants with knowledge in only some of these areas of law will still be considered as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly, supportive, and approachable team, and will be expected to travel to other offices to meet clients as may be necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

· Able to effectively manage your own caseload using the case management system ALB,

· Assisting Senior Lawyers within the department with their cases,

· Advising on a variety of litigation and dispute resolution matters including but not limited to Civil and Commercial Litigation, Property Disputes and Debt Recovery,

· Develop new and existing caseloads in litigation and dispute resolution matters,

· Drafting legal documentation whilst complying with relevant case law and SRA regulations,

· Drafting various court applications,

· Provide excellent client care in line with PCB Solicitors standards,

· Build strong client relationships with new and existing clients.

Essential Skills:

· Highly organised with precise attention to detail,

· Experience with MS office applications and legal systems,

· Experience in managing Litigation,

· Ability to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times,

· Proven internal and external communication skills,

· Maintain your continuing professional development requirements,

· Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm,

· Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently,

· Have a positive approach and strong work ethic.

Experience:

· 0 – 2 years post qualification experience (PQE) required,

· Experience in Litigation and Dispute Resolution required.

Job Types:

· Full-time, Part-time, Permanent.

Place of work:

· Shrewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Salary:

· £28,000.00 to £50,000.00 depending on qualifications and experience.
