Conveyancer Clocks Up Quarter Of A Century Service
PCB Solicitors is celebrating a quarter of a century of continued service from one of its employees.
Shropshire based PCB Solicitors has honoured one of its longest serving employees, Alison Haughton a Licensed Conveyancer based in its Shrewsbury office.
Alison began her career with the firm in January 1988, initially on a two-week temporary contract before taking on a full-time secretarial role supporting all of the departments, undertaking various duties such as administration, accountants, credit control, and debt collection. In 1996, after assisting with a number of conveyancing transactions, Alison enrolled onto a Council for Licensed Conveyancers' course at Shrewsbury College, qualifying with a distinction for Legal Accounting in 1998. In her current role, Alison has taken on a varied case load which includes residential sales and purchases, re-mortgage and leasehold transactions.
Alison Haughton said "If you'd told me when I started that two week contract I'd still be here 25 years later, I'd have never believed you! It has been an absolute pleasure to have developed my career with such a fantastic firm. The Partners and my colleagues have supported me during training and when I decided to work towards further qualifications to better my legal career, for which I'm truly grateful."
