Rugby Hornets Aim To Sting Opposition After Local Law Firm Sponsorship
A junior rugby team will be buzzing around the pitch after a local firm of solicitors kindly provided them with a new kit.
The Telford Hornets Under 10s team has officially received their new - and appropriately coloured - black and yellow striped strip from PCB Solicitors, which has one of its offices in the town. The sponsorship has been arranged by Mike Surzyn, a Partner at PCB Solicitors whose son Sebastian aged 9 plays for the team.
Mike explained "Telford Hornets is a great place. The coaches are brilliant with children from all abilities and backgrounds and encourage the youngsters to learn key skills, such as teamwork and sportsmanship, that will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives. We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile organisation such as the Telford Hornets, who are integral to the local community."
The young Hornets hope to start the New Year in style with their first match having taken place on 20Th January 2013.
Jane Evans manager of Telford Hornets Under 10s said "The players will hugely benefit from this new kit, it is really professional and looks simply superb. It is only with the help of generous sponsors, such as PCB Solicitors, that our club can continue to thrive and serve the local community and everyone here would like to thank Mike and the team for their kindness.
