PCB Solicitors Waive Will Fee in Return for Donations
Our Church Stretton office is launching a special month-long campaign to encourage local people to protect their valuable assets and possessions whilst raising money for a well-deserving cause.
For the third year running, PCB Solicitors has pledged its support to the Mayfair Community Centre, which, during May, will see the firm waiving its usual fee it charges to draw up a will and donating it to support the work of the centre.
The special offer will be limited to the first 20 appointments made throughout the month, and will see the firm give up the usual fee to prepare or update a basic will, and instead ask people to make a donation to the centre of £90 for a single will, or £150 for a pair of mirror wills. The donations will help support the community centre on Easthope Road, and help it continue to offer a host of vital services to local residents, including crèche and day-care facilities, and staging health and fitness sessions.
Julie Griffiths, Wills and Probate Clerk at PCB Solicitors, explained: “We have supported the Mayfair Community Centre for the past two years through our wills scheme, raising £2500 in the process. Around 60% of adults across the UK don’t have a will in place which, should the worst happen, is compromising the financial security of their loved ones, and may see their estate not passed on to those intended, causing a great deal of anxiety and pain for their family.
“The campaign is an ideal way for local people to get peace of mind that their affairs are in order, whilst helping to fund the essential work carried out by the centre, which is absolutely integral to the town. As spaces are limited, I’d urge anyone interested in reserving a slot to get in touch as soon as possible by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling me on 01694 723818,” Julie concluded.
