We are delighted to announce that Jodie Smith, Solicitor Advocate, who has represented numerous Clients across a range of Courts in her capacity as a Criminal Defence Solicitor, is now also specialising in Animal Welfare Cases, having obtained a Distinction in her recent studies of Dog Law & Legislation.
Jodie has a fervent interest in Animal Welfare and the related Law. She has acted for Defendants in numerous Criminal cases defending many who otherwise would be without a voice in our Criminal Justice System.
She has acted as an Education Speaker with the Blue Cross in a Voluntary Capacity and has rescued and lives with ten dogs and a cat! "I have rescued the reactive, the out of control and otherwise unwanted dogs. I am well versed in Dog Behaviour, Training and their Welfare needs. I know all about the 'nervous', the 'scared' and the on occasions 'aggressive' dogs. I qualified as a Solicitor to help advocate for those who need it the most - especially those without a voice"
