Work and Client
Brendan is head of the crime team based at our Shrewsbury Office. Brendan has over thirty years of experience representing clients at the police station, magistrates courts, Crown Court and Court of Appeal. He is qualified as a solicitor with higher rights of audience to (commonly known as a higher rights advocate) and regularly represents clients in the Crown Court.
Route to PCB
Brendan graduated from Liverpool University. After law school he trained in the West Midlands before moving to Shropshire. In 1996 he became a partner in the firm of Patience Clarke, Solicitors and then in 1999, a partner in the merged firm of Patience Clarke and Burrowes.

Interests outside work
Brendan is a widower with four children and a Jack Russell terrier called Spud. He enjoys rowing, walking up and down hills and mountains and spending time with his children.
