Family Lawyer 4+ years PQE

We have an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer to join our Family department, to be based at our Shrewsbury, Telford or Ludlow office, depending on the preference of the successful candidate. Day to day you will be expected to manage matters which include but are not limited to, divorce, finance and private law children, as well as all aspects of family law including some legal aid. There will be the option of some remote working after successful completion of the probation period.

Job Responsibilities:

· Able to effectively manage your own caseload using the case management system,

· Advise on a variety of family matters including divorce, finance, and private law children,

· Able to draft legal documentation whilst complying with relevant case law and SRA regulations,

· Draft various court applications, 

· Provide excellent client care in line with PCB’s standards,

· Build strong client relationships with new and existing clients.

Essential Skills:

· Highly organised with precise attention to detail,

· Experience with MS office applications preferable,

· Experience using case management systems such as ALB,

· Ability to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times,

· Proven internal and external communication skills,

· Maintain your continuing professional development requirements,

· Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm,

· Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently,

· Have a positive approach and strong work ethic.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience in Legal Aid is an advantage.

Job Types:

· Full time, Part time, Permanent.

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (full time).

Place of work:

· Telford/Shrewsbury/Ludlow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Experience:

· Minimum 4 years+ post qualification experience (PQE),

· Experience in Family Law.

Salary:

· £28,000.00 to £50,000.00, per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
