Supporting Our Community – One Friday at a Time

At PCB Solicitors, our ethos is simple: we are here to help. That doesn’t just apply to our clients it extends to our team, our communities, and the causes that make a real difference in people’s lives.

We are proud to announce that over the next 12 months, we will be supporting four exceptional charities as part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement. These are:

• Hope House Ty Gobaith – Providing vital care and support to children with life-threatening conditions and their families across Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.
• Lingen Davies Cancer Fund – Enhancing cancer services for the people of Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales through improved equipment, facilities, and support.
• The Harry Johnson Trust – Supporting children and teenagers who receive care from the oncology team at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
• Midlands Air Ambulance Charity – Providing rapid emergency response across the Midlands, saving lives in critical situations every day.

We believe that our role as a law firm extends beyond providing expert legal advice. We have a responsibility and a genuine desire to give back to the communities we serve.

One of the ways we are fundraising is through a much-loved tradition at PCB Solicitors ‘Dress Down Fridays’. Each Friday, our staff come to work in more relaxed attire, contributing donations towards our annual charity fund. It is a small act, but one that adds up week by week not only in terms of financial support, but also in promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Dress Down Fridays have become a valued fixture in our calendar. They offer an opportunity for the team to come together, relax a little at the end of a busy week, and take pride in being part of something bigger than ourselves. The initiative reinforces one of our core cultural values supporting staff wellbeing through a work environment that encourages people to work hard, have fun, and go home knowing they’ve made a difference.

Of course, Dress Down Fridays are just the beginning. Over the coming months, we will be organising a series of events and activities to raise further funds and awareness for our chosen charities.
